contracted security service you will need an SIA security guard licence

Job Centre or you can use the search box to the right. There are some
security companies who will provide the right candidate with the
security guard training required and fund an SIA licence but these are
becoming rare due to the amount of individuals who apply for security
jobs who already hold a valid SIA security licence. The average salary
for a security officer/guard is anywhere between £16,000 to £22,000 but
is purely dependant on location and other employment factors.
